Welcome to Saving Teeth, your specialist dental practice in Edinburgh dedicated to preserving and protecting your Teeth and natural smile. We focus on specialist-level root canal treatment in Edinburgh, including management of toothache and dental trauma, to save teeth that might otherwise be lost. Whether you're experiencing toothache or require urgent care for a dental emergency, or root canal in Edinburgh, our skilled team is here to provide prompt, effective, and compassionate service and treatment. Your well-being and dental health are our priority, and we’re committed to delivering the highest standard of care to keep you and your teeth strong and healthy.
If you’ve been told you need a root canal, there’s no need to worry. At Saving Teeth, we specialise in gentle, effective root canal therapy designed to relieve pain and save your natural tooth. Root canal treatment becomes necessary when the inside of your tooth – known as the pulp – becomes inflamed or infected due to decay, injury or a deep filling.
During the procedure, we carefully remove the damaged tissue, clean the root canals, and seal the space to prevent further infection. Finally, the tooth is restored with a filling or crown to bring back its strength and function. With our expert care and modern techniques, your root canal can feel no more uncomfortable than a routine filling – and it could save your tooth for many years to come.
Dental injuries can happen suddenly – whether from a fall, sports accident, or unexpected impact. Common issues include chipped, cracked or knocked-out teeth, which can be both painful and distressing. At Saving Teeth, we provide expert care to assess and treat traumatic dental injuries, with the aim of preserving your natural teeth wherever possible.
If the inner part of the tooth has been damaged, root canal treatment may be required to save it and prevent future problems. Our experienced team will act quickly to relieve pain, stabilise the tooth, and guide you through the recovery process. If you’ve experienced dental trauma, contact us straight away – prompt care gives your tooth the best chance of survival.
Dental emergencies can be distressing, especially when they involve severe pain, swelling, or trauma to a tooth. Whether you’ve suffered a sudden injury, have a cracked tooth, or are dealing with a flare-up of infection, we’re here to help.
At Saving Teeth, we prioritise emergency appointments and aim to see patients in pain as quickly as possible – often on the same day. Our experienced team will assess your condition, relieve discomfort, and stabilise your tooth. From urgent root canal treatment to temporary solutions while planning longer-term care, we’ll ensure you’re treated with compassion and skill when you need it most.
Toothache can disrupt your day and interfere with your ability to eat, sleep, or concentrate. It can be caused by many issues, including decay, infection, or a cracked tooth – and often indicates that something more serious is going on beneath the surface.
At Saving Teeth, we take toothache seriously. Our team will carry out a thorough examination to identify the source of your discomfort and provide the treatment needed to resolve it. In many cases, a root canal can stop the pain and save the tooth, but we’ll always talk you through your options and make sure you feel confident and informed. Don’t put off treatment – getting to the root of the problem early can prevent bigger issues later.
At Saving Teeth, we are experts in specialist root canal treatments, helping patients in Edinburgh and beyond preserve their teeth and natural smiles with precision and care. Our dedicated team ensures a comfortable experience, using the latest techniques and technologies to deliver effective, successful and long-lasting results.
